HUMMUS WITH A TWIST

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 ½ C. canned or pre-cooked chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
  • 4 T. lemon juice
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 T. light soya sauce
  • 1-2 T. light olive oil
  • ½ C. tahini
  • 1 teas. cumin seeds
  • 1 T. fresh rosemary, chopped.
  • ¼- ½  teas. cayenne pepper, to taste (opt. if you like it hot)
  • ½ teas. Mrs. Dash Original Blend OR Spike Seasoning Blend


PREPARATION:

Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth but still a bit grainy. Adjust seasonings if required.
